Easy Read uses clear, everyday language matched with images to make sure everyone understands. – Council for Intellectual Disability
Easy Read documents are helpful for:
- people with disability
- people with English as a second language
- people with lower literacy levels
- people who want to learn about a topic quickly
The Commons Library team were trained in Easy Read by the Council for Intellectual Disability (CID) in 2023. As part of the Making Advocacy Accessible project we produced the following guides. Thank you to the State Trustees Victoria for funding the project.
