Introduction
The Commons Social Change Radio Directory includes details of almost 100 radio shows all around Australia.
Community radio is an important part of social movements. Radio shows and podcasts amplify the voices of people marginalised by the mainstream media, provide alternative perspectives, and tell stories that may otherwise be missed.
They are also a valuable training ground for communicators and technicians.
See below for details of radio stations or view the whole directory in this Google spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet navigate the states via the tabs along the bottom. If you want to spread the word about a campaign or issue you’ll find details of the kinds of content shows are seeking and how to contact the presenters or producers.
