Community-led Design Wiki

Introduction

The Community-led design wiki, curated by Beyond Sticky Notes, collates insights and resources around community-led or community-driven design. It privileges the contributions of community-based practitioners, Indigenous people, people of color, disabled people and queer folx. Despite doing the work for many years, these voices have been undervalued in mainstream design education and practice with great detriment to our collective knowledge. Wiki readers can decide what they find helpful.

You can contribute to the Community-led design wiki. If you’re unsure about a contribution consider running it through the Design Justice Principles as a values check.

Please note: the Commons Librarians have created this article to mirror the wiki to increase access to these tools and links. The content of this article is current in April 2021 so directly visit the Community-led design wiki for updates.
