USING THE LIBRARY
Learn how to use the library and follow your curiosity.

Welcome to The Commons Social Change Library! Some things you should know:
- The Commons is a digital library: there is no bricks and mortar library for you to visit. This library is available to anybody with an internet connection.
- The Commons is not a lending library. All of our materials are directly available on this website.
- There are many ways to access resources on The Commons. Try the links below to get started!
I Would Like to…
Find Resources on a Specific Topic
Use the Search function to type in a keyword to quickly find relevant resources across the library. Refine your search by different filters such as year, topic, resource type or author.
Getting too many search results? Put quotes around words or phrase, such as โorganising modelsโ and we will only show pages that contain those exact words or phrases.
The way the library is structured is incredible, more than anything I could imagine. It would be very easy for a library to just be a depository of information and you have to work it out yourself.
What I love about the Commons is the value add of the interpretative introduction, what this is and why itโs useful, as well as links to further reading. You get the context of the item, not just the item alone, which makes it really useful for people.
